Using SoundPairs
SoundPairs is a free pronunciation-training resource. You can browse Sound Gym and Word Lab content without an account. Creating an account lets you track progress, contribute teaching content, and connect with teachers through Booking Hub.
Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when creating an account, and for keeping your password secure. Contributor accounts must reflect a genuine first-language English accent as described at signup — we may remove content or restrict accounts that misrepresent this.
Contributed content
By submitting written tips, audio, or video, you confirm the content is your own work (or that you hold the rights to share it), that it does not infringe anyone else’s copyright, and you grant SoundPairs a non-exclusive license to display it on the site. We review all submissions before they appear publicly and may reject or remove content at our discretion, including content that is inaccurate, offensive, or violates these terms.
Booking Hub
SoundPairs facilitates introductions between learners and teachers but is not a party to any lesson, payment, or agreement made between them. Any arrangement you make with a teacher found through SoundPairs is between you and that teacher.
Content accuracy
SoundPairs content, including AI-generated images, video, and audio, is provided for illustrative and educational purposes. While we review submissions and correct errors when they are reported, we do not guarantee that every explanation or pronunciation on the site is error-free. If you spot a mistake, please let us know.
Acceptable use
Do not use SoundPairs to submit content that is unlawful, harassing, or infringes on others’ rights. Do not attempt to disrupt the site or access accounts that are not your own.
Changes
We may update these terms as SoundPairs grows. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
